What to Expect Working With Us

You don't need to have your paperwork figured out, and you don't need to know whether you qualify. We want to talk it through with you either way. Here's what happens after you reach out.

1. Discovery Consultation

A relaxed call with someone who does this every day. We'll talk through a few simple questions, like who was affected, where they lived, and what their diagnosis was. Most people are surprised how much we can figure out from one conversation.

2. Immediate Honest Evaluation

We tell you right away where things stand. If your story qualifies for the Downwinders program, we say so and explain why. If not, we tell you that too, so you have clear answers either way.

3. Getting Your Claim Ready

You'll have a dedicated account manager who walks you through exactly what's needed, step by step. Together you'll cover all the required documents, and for any you need help tracking down, we step in and handle it.

4. Claim Filing & DOJ Tracking

Once your claim is ready, we review every document, then submit it on your behalf so it's done right the first time. From there, we handle all DOJ communication for you and know exactly who to reach if anything needs adjusting.

Transparent Pricing

What Will It Cost To Process My Claim?

Our fees are regulated by the U.S. Department of Justice, and we do not collect our fee until your claim has been approved and paid.

  • New Claims: For new RECA claims, our fee is 2% of the total compensation awarded.
Example: For a Downwinder claim awarded $100,000, our fee is $2,000.
  • Resubmitted Claims: If we are resubmitting a previously denied claim, the fee is 10% of the compensation awarded.
  • Administrative Fees:
    • A $400 per claimant administrative processing fee is charged to help cover costs incurred throughout the claims process. This fee is paid upon completion of the claim.
  • Document Retrieval Fees:
We obtain necessary documentation—such as medical records, presence documents, and vital records—on your behalf. These are billed per document, but payment is not due until the claim has been processed.
